While there is much to be thankful for around Oak Ridge Baptist Church these days, one of the most exciting partnerships for which we are grateful is the one that exists between Stone Grove Community Center and ORBC.  Recently, members of the church volunteered alongside Candice Lespinaese-- a community member with a heart of gold--and her family and friends.  For the past three years, Candice and her family have cooked and served a Thanksgiving feast for Stone Grove Community, a low-income housing community in Salisbury. This year, the 4th year in which Candice and her family members-- including her husband, grandmother, daughters, cousins, and aunts-- were preparing for the event, Candice found some additional volunteers through Laurie Riley, of ORBC. This Sunday, November 4th, will be one to remember at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury. Whether you're a church member, a regular attender, or a first-time guest, you won't want to miss the PEACE fair being held in the giant white tent on campus after each service.  This celebration is your chance to to learn about all of ORBC's amazing PEACE initiatives, from local service opportunities to international missions trips, and to have a great time with your family while you learn how to get plugged into a ministry or mission.
