Imagine what would happen if a church that draws weekly crowds of over a thousand people decided that for one Sunday morning, they would cancel services and ask that instead, every member and every attender go out into the community and perform an act of service? That's exactly what Oak Ridge Baptist Church will be doing in less than two weeks. PEACE 1 Day, a huge community service initiative designed to show Salisbury and surrounding areas how much ORBC cares, consists of 24 different projects happening in and around Salisbury.  Most projects will occur on Sunday, March 25, a day on which ORBC will forego services and instead ask that each and every person who would normally attend a service instead go show the love of Christ to the community in a real and tangible way.
